Social Brain

Neuroscience reveals six unique brain types that shape our values, social connections, and worldviews, offering strategies to bridge communication gaps and foster empathy.

Empathy Circuits: Six Ways We Connect

Neuro science has discovered six types of brain sequencing that perceive the world very differently, based on how the brain has wired its perceptual neural circuitry from birth. There are 6 different ways our social brain has been wired to acquire values, connect with others and interpret our world. The good news is that over 20 years of research with over 40,000 people has identified how to bridge the communications gap with and between these six types of brains. It is like learning six different ways of speaking the same language. The identification of values or qualities of character in a given context helps to create a culture of learning within individuals; rather than one of criticism, blame and shame. This creates the necessary conditions to develop empathy, heal emotional dysregulation, overcome disempowering behaviours, communicate more effectively with others and respond accordingly.
