PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a medical procedure that harnesses the healing properties of a patient's own blood to facilitate tissue regeneration. In facial rejuvenation, PRP can revitalise the skin, fostering a more youthful appearance. Similarly, for addressing hair loss, PRP can stimulate hair growth and enhance hair thickness.

During a PRP session for facial rejuvenation, a small sample of the patient's blood is extracted and processed in a centrifuge to isolate the plasma, platelets, and other blood components. The concentrated platelet-rich plasma is then carefully administered onto the patient's face, where it encourages collagen production, leading to improved skin texture and tone. In the case of hair loss, PRP can be directly applied to the scalp to activate hair follicles and promote the growth of new hair strands. The growth factors present in PRP enhance blood circulation to the hair follicles, resulting in healthier and thicker hair over time.

Achieving optimal results may necessitate multiple PRP sessions, with periodic maintenance treatments to sustain the benefits. This therapy can effectively enhance skin elasticity, tone, and colour, thereby minimising the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and aged skin.

Our facial PRP treatment involves the following steps:

We’ve curated our packages to maximise the benefits of PRP

  • Consultation: Before undergoing the procedure, you will have a consultation with a healthcare professional who will evaluate your skin type and discuss your goals and expectations for the treatment.
  • Blood draw: A small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm, similar to a standard blood test.
  • Centrifugation: The blood sample is then placed in a centrifuge machine, which spins at high speed to separate the platelets and plasma from the other components of the blood.
  • PRP extraction: The concentrated platelet-rich plasma is then extracted from the sample and prepared for administration.
  • Numbing cream: A topical numbing cream may be applied to the treatment area to minimizs any discomfort during the injection.
  • Administration: The PRP is then administered into the skin using a fine needle,The injections are typically administered across the entire face or in specific areas of concern, such as under the eyes or around the mouth.
  • Recovery: After your PRP sesson, you may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the administered areas. These side effects usually subside within a few days.
